PLMar is the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina, the city university of Marikina in Metro Manila, Philippines. Its student portal is the online account where enrolled students handle the semester's paperwork — enrollment status, grades and profile — instead of queueing at campus offices.
How to reach the student portal
The portal is linked from the university's official website. Go to www.plmar.edu.ph, open the PORTALS menu, and choose STUDENT PORTAL. Sign in with your username and password. PLMar's own guidance for new portal users says the assigned student number serves as the starting username and password — after your first successful login, change the password right away in the ACCOUNT menu, then update your profile, especially your name and birthdate. You will be logged out after the change and sign back in with the new password.
Applicants use a different door
If you are not enrolled yet, you do not use the student portal. Applicants work through the PLMar admission portal at ums.plmar.edu.ph/admission — that is where you apply for the PLMar College Admission Test (PCAT) and later check your admission status with your registered account. The university announces result releases, including PCAT results, on plmar.edu.ph.
What you can check inside
Enrolled students use the portal for enrollment-related tasks such as subject and curriculum applications, account and profile updates, and viewing their academic records. Graduate Studies students also apply for comprehensive exams through the portal, uploading payment receipts inside their account — a good example of how much of PLMar's student paperwork now runs through this one login.
If you cannot log in
Check first that you are on the real plmar.edu.ph and using the current student number format the university assigned you. Returning students who were not enrolled in the previous semester may need their portal reactivated first — PLMar handles that through a Request for Activation process announced on its official pages. Do not pay anyone who offers to "fix" your portal account; account problems are resolved by the university offices.
Keep your account yours
Your portal account carries grades, enrollment records and personal data, so the first-login password change is not a formality. Pick a password you do not use on social media, and do not let classmates or computer shops sign in for you — PLMar transactions done inside your account are recorded as yours. If a shop helped you enroll, change the password again as soon as you get home.
